The Chen 11 Form is ideal for beginners, it allows them to learn the most important movements out of all the Chen family forms in a shorter period of time than it would if they where learning the longer forms from scratch. This gives the beginner a complete form in the shortest time possible so that they can practice it and gain the benefits from it immediately. As these movements are used in all the other forms the knowledge is not waisted or discarded as the student advances.
