Breckon Hill Community Centre, Breckon Hill Road, MIDDLESBROUGH, TS4 2DS.
The Community Centre was purposely built in February 2004 to provide local residents with the opportunity to gain new skills and increase social interaction within a safe and friendly environment.
The Community Centre is managed by a Charitable organisation made up of 10 local residents who dedicate time to ensuring the services within the centre responds to local community needs.
The facility is on the ground floor with excellent disability access and free parking.
The Lunch Box community cafe is open Monday to Friday and provides quality freshly produced hot and cold meals and refreshments. Halal meats are available.
Other services include regular Job Club activities, administration support, multi-lingual touch screen information services, information advice services, referral and signposting to other external services.
There are monthly drop in sessions to discuss and report any local concerns and/or to meet with local Councillors.
The Centre also provides volunteering opportunities to be involved in local decision making or shaping the vision of Breckon Hill Community Centre.
